Tap to the tunes of Touhou Project melodies in Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost, the fan-favourite mobile rhythm game coming to Steam for PC on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, featuring a special collaboration with Toby Fox and currently in development for Nintendo Switch, and fight waves of phantoms in Touhou Dungeon Maker – The Labyrinth of Heart , a roguelike tower defence dungeon management RPG coming to Steam in 2024.

Look Out! Space Invaders: World Defense is Taking Over the Skies!

I can’t help but be reminded of the climatic moment from Independence Day in the fancier levels in Space Invaders: World Defense.

Space Invaders: World Defense has the feel that players should don AR glasses while shooting down the titular pixel aliens in the real world. That’s because, to spin around and search for them means they’re after you rather than to destroy a city! Fortunately, this game limits the area where you can move around in, so you’re not running around the block in search of their entry point to our realm.

Although this game isn’t fully designed to have you witness monsters and UFOs blasting away at city buildings, I have to wonder when digital reality will replace our own. That’s assuming that we are not living in The Matrix; the more structures that are around means more work for the game to internally weave these invaders around. It’s a novel concept that will have most gamers loving this product’s mechanic as a lot of the animation and interaction is truly seamless.

Summer Lovin’ with Kimono Cats Latest Update is Here!

You can’t just pop every balloon that floats around in Kimono Cats. It requires players to pay attention to win m’lady’s heart.

Kimono Cats Title Card Summer is here, and for most people, that means taking an enjoyable walk to enjoy the season! Some may want to visit the park or head to the beach for a stroll along the boardwalk. That’s the vibe Kimono Cats by HumaNature Studios is going for, and in this much anticipated update, you’re playing an unnamed hero with a female companion whom he’s courting. While this “narrative” isn’t fixed as it now offers gender-neutral character designs/customizations, I’m glad the game is being future-proofed!

As for how far the default mode goes, there are a lot of levels to hit, and I’m still not done! Here, players are primarily throwing darts at balloons so that their contents will drop for me to catch and give to Miaow. Her reactions rate how well your progress is. Part of the goal includes winning her heart. It’s a scenario often found in many high school anime in one form or another. As a festival takes place and teens attend it, there’ll be a scene where the boy has to take on some game to win a prize for his girlfriend. After its debut at Steam Next Fest, Quest Master, is now available as a demo to play! This dungeon-designing sandbox fantasy adventure from publisher Apogee Entertainment and developer Skydevilpalm grants adventurers the keys to craft custom dungeons, and much more. To unleash this demo to the public is so far very addicting and different from other games of the past era. To be able to be Dungeon Master says it all!

It also has a lot of retro style sound design and digital aesthetics that fans of Wild Arms and also Zelda are familiar with!

Jumplight Odyssey. You’re Steering this Videogame Demo to Nostalgia.

In Jumplight Odyssey, you can build, expand, and customise the Catalina’s decks to create a personalised ship on your journey to the fabled Forever Star.

League of Geeks has a free playable demo for Jumplight Odyssey, a roguelite colony sim inspired by genre staples and classic ‘70s sci-fi anime. The demo is available to download during the Steam Next Fest, now taking place (June 19-26, 2023), and this sneak peek is looking very retro! This latest project, from the studio behind the hugely successful indie hit, Armello, promises to be a hit.

Here, players start a career as captain of the SDF Catalina. As the overseer, you’re not only preparing to go explore strange new worlds, but also managing the crew of your star cruiser. Here, you can customise the ship’s decks with dozens of fully placeable objects, and do a lot of roster checks so everybody is happy. Like in Yamato (aka Star Blazers), you’re sometimes involved in making sure there’s no conflicts between crew, especially if they have a bridge position.

Decarnation and Dealing with Gloria’s Inner Demons Coming to Life…

Decarnation, developed by Atelier QDB and published by Shiro Unlimited, takes players to the vibrant setting of Paris in 1990. However, her fortunes change when she receives an intriguing offer from a mysterious benefactor. Is this proposal her long-awaited lucky break, or something far more sinister?

This game invites players to explore both real and mental environments as you uncover details that shed light on the intricate web of Gloria’s life. The game weaves some heavy themes such as depression, aging, and self-worth into the narrative to create a compelling mosaic of how complex life can be when faced with significant changes.
