The Ariel Phenomenon. Was it a Hoax or Something Else?

Ariel Phenomenon overs a lot of ground and it’s excellent at covering all the bases. That includes the days leading up to the close encounter of a third kind.

The Ariel Phenomenon PosterNot everyone knows of the UFO landing that occurred in 1994 within the Jewel of Africa, and not even the local military took immediate notice. By the time they were informed and arrived at the scene, the aliens were gone. But the Ariel Phenomenon—named after the school–is a concern.

Many kids (over 60 of them) were affected in some level, and 28 years later, most have tried to move on. But the images haunted them; they were traumatised. As adults, these individuals still don’t understand what happened. Filmmaker Randall Nickerson tracked down a few of those eye-witnesses willing to recount that meeting in Zimbabwe, and it’s their journey that he chronicles about how they are coping.

One aspect of the production that I liked is that it’s not filled with recreations. Another aspect is that it looks at what goes in on other parts of the world. It’d be arrogant to think activity only happens in certain countries. The USA, Peru and Mexico always tops the lists, but we rarely hear about UAPs in Africa. In what this filmmaker focuses on are these people coming to terms with what they experienced. His approach to let them talk about what happened is like therapy, and we can follow along to figure out all that they’ve gone through.

May is Asian Heritage Month, and the National Film Board of Canada has a channel about Asian Communities in Canada. The municipality of Richmond, BC is almost considered the “Chinese” place to do business in the Pacific Northwest because of all the warehouses and operations headquartered here. But there’s more to this side of the industry, or a feature about just one nation. There’s other countries to help make this world for what it is. The cultural influences, the history and arts are part of a greater influential factor.

In America, the Los Angeles Pacific Asian Film Festival will soon take place for even more media introspectives. We’ve posted a guide in what to see there in the prior article.

Is Anyone Excited for the New Rescue Rangers?

The new Rescue Rangers trailer doesn’t add to what’s currently known about the film.

Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers Official New Trailer Released by Disney+Coming to Disney Plus

The new Rescue Rangers trailer doesn’t add to what’s currently known about the film, and not everyone is open to seeing this fond property from their youths modernised. Some works stand the test of time and others don’t need the 21st century upgrade. The duo have gone their separate ways, and it’s tough to say if they’re better off for it. Chip (now voiced by John Mulaney) seems to be set in the past, and Dale (Andy Samberg), however new that he is (that is, he’s rendered in 3D), the fact he’s doing conventions to make ends meet suggests that not even he can move forward to doing new projects.

Where to Find Foo Fighter’s Forbidden Studio 666

Any fan of Foo Fighters will get a kick out of Studio 666. It’s a horror comedy with a few good beats to show the band in their off stage hilarity.

Studio 666 Poster

Available to stream on Amazon Prime

Any fan of Foo Fighters will get a kick out of Studio 666. It’s a horror comedy with a few good beats to show the band in their off stage hilarity. Most of it is fictional and the timing of its broader release to streaming cannot be any more surreal following the recent news of Taylor Hawkins death. The film is not meant to mirror real life.

Here, the story focuses on how the dead can come back, to finish an Evil Dead type ritual so that Skye Willow (Jenna Ortega) can gain power. She never finished his summoning spell because her bandmates put a stop to it during this film’s introduction. But, on the verge of dying herself, Skye must find a person to possess.

Fast forward to the present, Dave Grohl has debts and is in a rut. He has to develop a new album and earn enough income to pay those off, and perhaps afterwards, consider where he future lays in regards to being a musician. His manager, Jeremy Shill (Jeff Garlin) offers him a place (where Skye once lived) to stay and work on it. Once the band settles in, not everyone is aware of the danger that’s hiding in the basement.

A Filthy Lot’s D&D Renactment Is Here!

A Filthy Lot LOGOAt long last is A Filthy Lot’s “A Meeting with Hammerlain,” a fully realised reenactment off one of the key moments from their D&D gaming channel. The group has to meet one of the magistrates, and what’s seen is a demonstration of what this studio can produce independent of the studio system in Vancouver, BC.

The delay is due to the team wanting to fine tune the edit and effects. They want the transition from one world to another seamless. The costumes are terrific and the encounter are as engaging as an episode of Stargate Atlantis. The behind-the-scenes team may have once worked at Bridge Studios before joining this company!

AFL’s flagship product is Ready to Roll, a web series where their in-house group of gamers are dealing with threats to the world of Altera. People can naviate the world through portals, but the politics and who can use them are in question. And not everyone knows they can transport folk to alternate dimensions.

Quick Thoughts on Pacific Rim: The Black Season Two Trailer Drop

Taylor and Hayley Travis have new skills to show off in the season two trailer of Pacific Rim: Black, coming soon to Netflix

Pacific Rim: The Black season 2 poster and first look images released ahead of April premiereComing to Netflix
April 19, 2022

Taylor and Hayley Travis have new skills to show off in season two of Pacific Rim: Black! The trailer is now out and what’s revealed shows off the threat introduced in last season’s cliffhanger, and just how nasty they can be!

These siblings look confident in piloting the mech they found, the Atlas Destroyer, but along the way, they’ll find old Jaegers (that they may salvage for parts) and deal with a cult. The mysterious Sisterhood are hailing the coming of the Kaiju Messiah to save the world. This figure may still need to be born, but in what’s revealed in the teaser makes him look like he’s been around for some years. He just hasn’t discovered his powers yet!

Not everyone wants it and I believe this season will examine the tough decision to kill or hide the child away. But if there’s a chance of saving a lost soul, I’m all for it! But nobody will know until this season drops later this month.
