Jack Osbourne isn’t hanging up his proton pack just yet. He’s need night vision goggles to find unidentified aerial phenomena in Night of Terror: UFOs.

When Jack Osbourne is not chasing after ghosts in Portals to Hell, he’s scanning the skies for unidentified aerial phenomena in Night of Terror: UFOs. I like the fact he’s interested in everything paranormal, but I’m still reminded of who he once was when The Osbournes (2005) introduced him to Reality TV.

If most of that series was indeed manufactured for entertainment only, then I suspect he turned that around to create his own programs based on what he’s keen on. Jack’s passion is captured on video for all to see. But as for becoming an authority in the same vein as Loyd Auerbach or Nick Pope, something must make him change how he studies this world.

Thus, in Night of Terror, his approach is to simply witness it first-hand. This entertainment producer takes Jason Mewes and Jamie Kennedy to the Uinta Basin region of Utah to find proof of the existence of aliens and UFOs. Sadly, they don’t have any close encounters of any kind they can take home to tell the kids about. Nor do they witness a “Tear in the Sky,” which is better than what this piece of reality TV programming offers. What they manage to digitally record is either too fuzzy or granulated (they’re consumer grade night vision technology) to say they have undeniable proof.

Unlocked: The World of (Video) Games is an Upcoming Online Documentary, One Byte Deep!

The eight-part documentary Unlocked: The World of Games, Revealed will be available online through iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Steam starting December 15th.

Celebrity hosts Sean Astin, Tom Arnold, Matt Walsh, Penn Jillette, Michael Rooker, Zelda Williams, Alison Haislip and Meghan Camarena will look deep into the world of video games in an eight-part documentary Unlocked: The World of Games, Revealed. This series will be available online through iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Steam starting December 15th and it is currently available for preorder.

“The goal in producing a series like ‘Unlocked’ is to educate and entertain the audience on all these fascinating topics within the world of gaming all with a cast of curious correspondents that the audience is familiar with,” said series director Jeremy Snead.

XYZ Films Sells Kevin Smith’s ‘Anti-Claus’ to Key Global Markets

Kevin Smith, director of such films as Clerks, Red State and Tusk, is working on a third horror film. Originally titled Here Comes the Krampus!, it has been renamed Anti-Claus. Its being scripted by Andy McElfresh and Kevin Smith and is based on an idea created by Andy McElfresh during a Christmas episode of SModcast.

For this latest project, Smith will be using actors from his second horror feature Tusk, including Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, Michael Parks, and Ralph Garman.

Smith said earlier in the year that the film would be shot before Clerks III.

XYZ Films launched the project at the Cannes Film Market. Its has already pre-sold to Premium Films in Russia, Rialto Distribution in Australia, Vendetta Films in New Zealand, PictureWorks in India, Queen in Indonesia, NonStop Entertainment in Scandinavia, WME Global in the United States, and Falcon Films in the Middle East. More deals are expected to be announced in the coming days by XYZ Films.

Jordan Monsanto, Andy McElfresh, and Jennifer Schwalbach are producing for Smith’s SModcast Pictures, with Jason Mewes executive producing. SFX legend Robert Kurtzman who did make-up for Tusk will be creating the Krampus.

On Smith’s blog earlier in the year, he announced he will co-direct the horror feature with  McElfresh, Mewes, Schwalbach and Carol Banker. The cast reported thus far are Kevin Smith’s co-podcaster Scotty Mosier, and Family Guy voice artist Ralph Garman.

Anti-Claus tells the tale of the centuries-old, devil like creature known the world over as the Krampus — the “Anti-Claus” of Alpine country folklore is infamous for eating naughty children during the season of giving. The movie will be told in single story episodes, stitched together with a framing device similar to the classic Creepshow film.

Principal photography is set to begin in September, 2014.
