Look Out! The Skywatcher is Coming, And There’s No Need To Be Scared.

Part two of the Skywatcher trilogy heads to Bradshaw Ranch, trading hard answers for atmosphere and suggestion. With gorgeous drone work and speculative skywatching, this middle chapter feels more like a field guide than a revelation.

Skywatcher

Skywatch, Skywatcher and Skywatched Make Up This Trilogy

Bradshaw Ranch is back under the magnifying glass, and this time Dan Starkey and Clive Christopher (of Unearthed) are poking around Sedona, Arizona to see what kind of cosmic dust is being kicked up. Usually, their eyes are glued to the skies, scanning for UAPs drifting over the desert. In part two of a trilogy flying under the Skywatcher banner, and no, I did not spiral into thoughts of Skywalkers or Skinwalkers. What we get isn’t a deep excavation of theory but more of a starter kit. It’s a gentle “here’s how you might flag down the weird” guide for anyone tempted to pack a flashlight, find a mate to protect your back, and go hunting for an unexplained encounter.

The region near the Superstition Mountains has long been steeped in lore. Indigenous stories, frontier myths, whispers of hidden gold and stranger things. If cryptids once roamed the Wild West, I would not be shocked. That’s not the path this documentary takes. Instead, it leans into the idea of energy, where it’s coming from and if it is sentient. Maybe this force is stirred up by human intention, or perhaps by something less visible and more elusive. If I ever decide to go hunting for hematite, well known in New Age circles for its “grounding” properties, I now know where to start. Still, much like the cautionary tales about removing lava rocks from Hawaii, I suspect the desert might not appreciate souvenirs either.

Some conspiracies about the alien agenda lean into Juicy Woo Woo! territory—and if John Sobol has any say, that’s exactly where he wants to lead us. As a storyteller and musician, he mixes UFO lore, pop culture, and cosmic musings into a 60-minute journey that moves from fear to acceptance. With his show, he wants audiences to feel they are in the experience. Here, they also get caught up in the latest reports too.

There are no cameos from the jazz greats I usually spin, but I swear Pharoah Sanders might have heard the call.Anything tied to cosmic consciousness or “The One” could appear, though that might overwhelm a casual Fringe crowd. As for the Lemurians of Mt. Shasta or why some people live in a shared bubble, that depends on which studies you trust.

Will Aliens Uncovered Golden Frequency Spark Another ID4?

The answer is no, but it’d be scary if aliens decide to reveal themselves during before the big day, just like in the movie. Instead, what Aliens Uncovered Golden Frequency explores is the search and how contact might eventually be made.

Aliens Uncovered Golden Frequency PosterBreaking Glass Pictures

Releasing this review near Independence Day feels fitting. Maybe it will spark some new ideas. Clive Christopher’s long-running series has now ended with the release of the last episode, fully titled Aliens Uncovered Golden Frequency. When this work is a clever play on words about what the aliens are really after, I’m liking the exposition.

Here, the focus is on why UAPs keep showing up in Arizona’s Superstition Mountains. They may well be after the gold deposits still buried deep underground. Although I do not recall if this documentary said they are the Anunnaki—a group said to need gold to save their home planet—that’s a safe assumption. This detail is often said in many a podcast or other conspiracy series.

When PBS’ NOVA Tries to Explain “What Are UFOs?” We Should Pay Attention!

Although one-third of the episode is repeating old information, the final third is worth paying attention to for the public to help UFOlogists study What Are UFOs?

NOVA What Are UFOs? General PosterWhen America’s most beloved popular science television program decides it’s time to deal with the UFO phenomenon, a lot of viewers are going to take notice. That’s because the answer to “What Are UFOs?” actually offers a few bits of information that’s absolutely new to me, and the 50-minute program is not simply regurgitating information that’s already well known to Ufologists.

The December 2024 timestamp on the most recent footage surprised even me. I notice that much information in television productions is usually outdated by broadcast time. Sometimes, the footage doesn’t make it to the mainstream until years later. Cellphone footage is difficult to validate, but the producers’ prompt action shows they take this subject seriously.

While the program’s first third covers familiar material, it successfully acquaints newcomers with the phenomenon’s beginnings and explains the preference for using “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAP) over the old term. And to recap the incident that really catapulted interest and put “closure” to the Roswell incident, even I’m skeptical. That’s because while Project Mogul is a plausible explanation, there’s still the question if aliens bodies were also found.

The Terror and Colour Symbolism in Blue Book, From #1 to 3!

Five issues of Blue Book will be released prior to the trade paperback slated for late August 2023 release.

Blue Book #1 Published by Dark Horse ComicsDark Horse Comics isn’t all that famous when it comes to offering titles concerning Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, but when they do, I’m all for it! Instead of titling it “Project” Blue Book, the simpler title is eye-catching not only in colour presentation but also narrative approach.

Here, creators James Tynion IV and Michael Avon Oeming give readers a look at a few well-known cases from UFO lore. The tale that kicks things off recounts the famous case of Betty and Barney Hill. They were the very first alien abductees, and recounting their narrative is the perfect choice! In later issues, we see how their lives have been affected. Betty can’t let the encounter go, and her inquiries set the tone for what’s still to come. Chapter three is the most telling, since the last one ended up in an abrupt note.

Craig Charles Has 10 UFO Conspiracies. Truth or Fiction? Series in Review and Episode Guide

Craig Charles of Red Dwarf fame joins forces with astrophysicist and journalist Sarah Cruddas to look at UFO Conspiracies, past and present.

Craig Charles (Lister from Red Dwarf) wants to believe, but he can’t do it alone in UFO Conspiracies. There’s some humour involved in this investigative television show on Sky. He joins forces with astrophysicist and journalist Sarah Cruddas to look at various cases, past and present. What’s presented only reminds longtime ufologists about those cases of ongoing debate.

These two work in a makeshift office and don’t have field agents to report in. Instead, what this show offers is something akin to Fact or Faked. Maybe they’re in this bungalow because they fear the Men in Black are coming. The fact it’s “undisclosed” says something. Video cameras are everywhere, and they can be hacked into when they are computer networked machines. In the way this series is filmed, I suspect it’s partly scripted.

I admire the later episodes when the two hosts put together the puzzle pieces. It’s rare to find any paranormal reality programming that’s similar to Beyond the Series. Their investigation into the Phoenix Lights is perhaps the best, since it offers material I do not recall presented elsewhere. To my knowledge, not even Ancient Aliens went into the depth as they did concerning who had seen these UAPs up close.
