The Truth is Somewhere. A Guide to Spring 2026 Mystery Block on History and Discovery Channel

Spring 2026 is shaping up to be a surprisingly packed season for fans of mysteries, conspiracies, and the unexplained. There’s no shortage of strangeness to tune into for the Spring 2026 Mystery Block on Friday nights!

Spring 2026 Mystery BlockIf you’ve spent any time following the unknown and unsolved with all those series on History Channel or Discovery, the good news is that there’s always something new on the horizon. I personally believe we are finally out of the paranormal reality television craze as interest has, ironically enough, faded away. The few programs that remain for Spring 2026 Mystery Block are money makers for one reason or another, but as for new content and promoting those shows, it’s about bloody time!

What started as a niche revival has exploded into a full-blown spring premiere block. And it’s no joke, April is a busy month! Whether you’re here for the cryptids, the conspiracies, or just to see genre icons staring intensely at dusty artifacts, here is how the lineup is shaping up.

With Expedition X having finished its run not too long ago, there’s an empty chair in the entertainment that needs filling. And there is good news as the next season is being filmed. On the series fan page on Facebook, Heather confirmed they are filming. All fans can do is wait while The Secret of Oak Island is nothing but dead air. As for Expedition Files, the successor to the Unknown brand, that’s coming April 1st if the info on their social media is correct.

In Search of Aliens Uncovered Jesuits Secrets Rather Than Desert Riches

Maybe some things shouldn’t be unearthed! In Aliens Uncovered Jesuits Secrets, while some ideas may seem far fetched, could what documentarian Clive Christopher is looking for the truth?

Some people may say the topics Clive Christopher has in his UFO conspiracy documentary series are far-fetched. However, I’m finding some of his releases better than others. In his latest, Aliens Uncovered: Jesuits Secrets, they are not out to spread the word of Christ. There’s also the search for gold (to help the aliens who need to “phone home” in order to save their planet).

However, there’s more to the mystery. The locals believe Mount Graham is a source of mystery. While the indigenous tribes living here are harvesting from the land for food and sustenance, there are others seeking something else! It’s rumoured the aliens want the minerals said to be buried here. Also, when the Vatican built an observatory here and it’s home to two other telescopes, perhaps these organisations know something else is hovering above.

What Went Horribly Wrong With Star Trek Section 31? And Ideas In How To Fix It!

When the showrunners of Nu-Trek want to be just that, Star Trek Section 31 is going to suffer.

Star Trek Section 31 PosterWhen producer Alex Kurtzman and writers Bo Yeon Kim and Erika Lippoldt decide to not acknowledge why The Federation’s most covert operation exists, trying to present a different version Star Trek Section 31 a bad idea. An old Hollywood Reporter interview acknowledged this fact, and I’m surprised more fans didn’t voice their opinions then.

This group turned from being a mysterious Men in Black type of organization to an order whose operatives are agents from Mission Impossible. The story that’s presented missed a tremendous opportunity to bring back certain characters from the past. Although early reports revealed Michelle Yeoh is the focus, I was hoping for a cameo or two, or some time travel romp where she’s the mysterious leader who went back and forth in time to recruit!

The Portal Encounters in Aliens Uncovered Part 12 Are Many, But What About The Few Not Found Elsewhere?

Anyone searching for the truth will find some new ideas in the next chapter of the Aliens Uncovered series, subtitled Portals Encountered.

Aliens Uncovered Portal Encounters PosterNow Available to Stream on Google Play, Vudu and AppleTV

The Superstition Mountains is certainly a place of mystery, and in Aliens Uncovered Portal Encounters, the 12th episode of a 15 film run, what’s unearthed concerns folklore more so than anything else! Here, the focus is about why people go missing and the search for Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine! That’s because some people theorise the metal is required for achieving faster than light travel.

One day, maybe someone from the U.S. military will open up and explain why they patrol these places. They are policing them because “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” There are organisations who think the world is not ready for what’s lurking across that gateway, and perhaps they are doing what’s best for humanity.

Take Me Down to Asteroid City, Where the Grass is Gone, But the….

Wes Anderson’s latest film, Asteroid City, is a film that’s best to enjoy like fine wine.

Asteroid City Bluray CoverIn order to truly appreciate one of Wes Anderson‘s films, I feel that I have to mentally prepare myself f. In Asteroid City, this whimsical journey to a town with folks living their life from Leave it to Beaver won’t be for everyone. When there’s some added conspiracy elements added on top, I had to make sure I was truly following along instead of watching it while doing a few other things.

There’s a lot of story going on, and I wasn’t sure where to focus my attention.

Although the concept of a theatre presentation of a story within a story is nothing new, the way this film flips back and forth between subplots was jarring. The story would’ve been better without the added framing devices. And as for when the UFOs will appear and how this township deals with alien visitation, that depends on when it’ll happen. Not even by this film’s midway point is this goal made clear, and by the climax, I’m wondering what this director was going for since the quest for a close encounter of the 5th kind wasn’t made all that clear.

From Oppenheimer to A Compassionate Spy, This Cinematic to Documentary Pairing Tells All

Whether Ted Hall is truly a hero, a spy or just a person in A Compassionate Spy, what we learn is that he’s pretty much America’s unsung hero.

A Compassionate Spy Movie PosterThere is one plot hole in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer which needs its own story to tell all. Someone leaked the plans on how to make a nuclear bomb to the Russians! While the film went one way to figure out who is to blame, this documentary deftly examines why Ted Hall instigated the deed. Steve James’ A Compassionate Spy nicely helps us understand what motivated him to do so.

Instead of comparing him to Dr. Strangelove aka How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, what this film does is examine why this scientist passed on nuclear secrets to the enemy. The Cold War was beginning and to understand why he did it requires understanding the times, and Saville Sax’s involvement in the whole matter. He was part of Hall’s plans to share the information. He was worried his country might turn into another type of Nazi Germany.
