Arriving at the same time as the movie, The LEGO® Ninjago Movie Video Game is now available in the Americas for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and Steam. Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, this product allows players to extend the non-stop action and humour of the new big-screen animated adventure. Players can battle their way through waves of enemies with honour and skill as their favourite Ninjago heroes – Lloyd, Nya, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane and Master Wu – to defend Ninjago Island from Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army.
With new, powerful combat moves, players can jump into the action with adrenaline pumping fighting sequences that let them jump higher, kick harder, swing further and defy gravity to conquer their enemies. Players can master the art of Ninja-gility by running on walls, high-jumping and battling foes of NINJAGO to rank up and upgrade the ninja’s combat skills, and traverse across Ninjago Island fluidly with parkour-like moves. The new combat moves include Rushing Boar, a dash attack to bridge the gap between characters, Floating Butterfly, a jump lunge attack that allows the ninja to leap and attack from above, Swooping Hawk, a jump slam attack, and Stinging Bee, a flurry of very fast strikes.
Video game week continues with a quick look at the latest video released by Warner Bros. Interactive and Travellers Tale’s Games of the upcoming LEGO Ninjago movie. This newest trailer shows off some new moves of Lloyd and gang in the game due to arrive in shelves the same week as the movie, September 22.
This new teaser looks fantastic and has me excited to play TT Games’ products again. While I found past products repetitive, the same game engine with different franchise wrappings, this game feels different. I’m hoping I am right. This latest video features this team performing epic combat moves, such as the “Stinging Bee,” “Swooping Hawk,” and “Skyward Dragon” and upgrading their weapons to defend Ninjago City from Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army.
This game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Coming Feb 21, 2017 is LEGO Worlds and this open world video game aims to have players build new realms for others to explore in. It’s sort of like what Disney Infinity offered with downloadable customizable content, and this product will be available for the PlayStation4, Xbox One and on STEAM. It will be available at a MSRP of $29.99
“Whether customizing characters, exploring in vehicles, building structures, or discovering an expansive range of items, characters and creatures throughout the worlds, there’s the freedom to create anything imaginable,” said Jonathan Smith, Head of Production, TT Games.
Gamers interested in playing this game can still find it on STEAM Early Access. It remains available for purchase at the introductory price of $16.99 and it updatable, to reflect the final version at no additional cost.
