Dynamite Comics’ Gargoyles Demona Closing Chapter is Excitingly Near!

Demona’s solo comic series is just beginning! Just whether she’s a survivor or an eye of a tiger, depends on what Greg Weisman and Frank Paur have planned. Will this be it, or will there be more?

One lone survivor’s journey in her solo comic book outing by Greg Weisman and Frank Paur will soon reach its finale. And what I’ve found in Gargoyles Demona feels very Shakespearean. Her desire for revenge versus being a mother to a youngling plays like a tragedy worthy of a stage, and perhaps like an operetta too! As part of her days are revealed for all to read, she’s losing herself. What we learn about her dealings with humanity during the early to late Middle Ages is a story longtime fans have been waiting for.

Although this creator has barely scratched the surface regarding the Age of Renaissance and later eras, I can’t wait to see what can transpire then! Demona’s survival in the later centuries wasn’t explored in the animated series, and there’s still an enormous gap before the tale picks up again in 1910 when she killed Jackson Canmore, a Hunter whose goal is to continue Gillecomgain’s desire for revenge. It all began because she scratched his face while scavenging for food back in the early Middle Ages.

Predator Badlands – When A Hunter Becomes the Hero

A new perspective freshens Predator Badlands, but at the cost of the franchise’s ferocity. Is the softened tone and redesigns right?

20th Century Fox’s Predator didn’t just thrill action fans; it roared. It took a simple hook—survival in the jungle—and turned it into one of the toughest films of the 80s. Guerrillas, locals, commandos… none of them realised they were being stalked by something far worse. Predator Badlands carries that same DNA, but flips the lens. This time, the hunter is the hero.

Dex (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) is the runt of his clan, desperate to prove himself to a father who’d sooner cull the weak than train them. His brother Kwei (Mike Homik in suit, Stefan Grube on voice) doesn’t think he’s ready. Their dynamic sets the stage fast, and then the film hits full throttle: Pops arrives, declares Dex unworthy, and doesn’t even give the lad a chance. Big brother steps in, pays the price, and the ship bolts off as Dex watches him die. It’s raw, swift, and effective.

Autumn Animated Series Guide and Beyond. What’s Best to Watch and What’s Best to Avoid

Late 2025’s slate of cartoons mixes fairy-tale mysteries, anime eco-adventures, and Afrofuturist visions. A few sparkle, some stumble, but each animated series reminds us what’s ripe for storytelling.

Autumn 2025 animated series guideWhen the autumn slate of television programming for youths is in full gear, just what we enjoy watching isn’t always going to be offered on the big three—Amazon Prime, Netflix or Hulu. There’s some great animated series in the world of streaming rather than network for obvious reasons. Luckily, the last stretch of 2025 has a few curious newcomers and oddball experiments worth watching—or at least watching for. Some shimmer with potential, others… less so (Armorsaurs, we’re side-eyeing you). As to be fair for Devil May Cry, they deserve honourable mention despite having started in Spring than Fall.

Here, Sabrina and Daphne get suddenly orphaned when their parents disappear. They go live with their grandmother and when they learn there is more to their dad than meets the eye, what they do next is hardly surprising. They must navigate challenges of looking out for each other in a world where fairy tales are real!

Smart writing, lush design, and a tone that doesn’t talk down to its audience—it’s Apple’s most confident foray into youth fantasy since Wolfwalkers. And if you’ve seen DreamWorks Curses! you’ll recognise the storytelling model used too!

TRON Ares. Is It An Epic Return to the Grid in Disney’s Long Delayed Revival?

After years in development, TRON Ares finally hits the Grid. This third film doesn’t reboot the system, but honours the legacy of the original with stunning visuals, a soulful digital antihero, and echoes of Frankenstein in a world learning how to dream.

Despite the long wait and troubled production history, TRON Ares is finally here. What this third film (fifth in the narrative timeline) honours is the franchise’s beginings through some fun Easter Eggs. As this tale continues more from of the 1982 original, rather than the second film, TRON Legacy, some fans will be disappointed. However, as long as this side story does well in the box office, the chances to explore where Sam and Quorra went might get answered!

Although this entry trades philosophy for spectacle ala Terminator 2 through much of its runtime, what it offers is still respectful in what the franchise is about. At its core, it still invites us to imagine what life might be like inside the Grid—or, if you prefer, The Matrix, since the parallels are undeniable.
