It’s no joke, the entire six episode Star Wars saga will get retold in an five-episode series titled LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales. Just how the saga will be portrayed will no doubt be from the perspective of R2D2 and C3P0 since they have been in every movie to date. Perhaps R2 a little more since he’s the messenger droid everyone is looking for. Just how 3P0 fits in is like the classic bundler.

But if they are not in every frame, the creators will find a way to introduce another droid to pick up from where another left off. Thankfully, this series will air on television just in time before Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18th.

One Otaku’s Take on Stars Wars VII Teaser Trailer

By Ed Sum (The Vintage Tempest)

J.J. Abrams teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode VII “The Force Unleashed” is here, and what can fans discern from it? There’s an opening line of dialogue, “There’s been an awakening. Have you felt it?”

In this trailer’s case. everyone has and they are showing it! He turns, and instead of storming off into the distance, looks far over yonder to see where he’s ended up almost like how C3P0 and R2D2 left the Rebel Blockade Runner and landed on the same planet from long ago.

*Spoiler alert

Fans for the next chapter in the Star Wars saga do not have to wait long. Production is more than well underway for Star Wars: Rebels, the animated Disney-approved bridge between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and IV: A New Hope, and the look is fantastic. It faithfully continues in the same style as The Clone Wars, and injects perhaps a much-needed change in the style of narrative when it airs late 2014 on DisneyXD.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Finale to Hit Netflix!

By Ed Sum (The Vintage Tempest)

Multiple sources have confirmed that the final season to Lucafilm/Disney’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming to Netflix early March. Finally, the fate of Ahsoka Tano will get answered in a 13 episode run that will not only test Anakin Skywalker’s relationship with her (presumably) but also reveal the fate of all Jedi before it leads in to Episode 4, A New Hope.

Even more exciting is that Netflix will present director’s cut of seasons one to five. Now the big question is whether or not new video releases will follow. In this exclusive deal between Disney and Netflix, most likely not. But for fans who knows the lore, all it takes is Obi-Wan to only hope.
