Japanese Artist Hikaru Shirosu Upstaged by Cat in Latest YouTube Video

For those of you who love cats or even own one or two (or three), you’ve come to realize (as I have) that cats come with incredible power. They may not fetch a stick or even a ball like our canine companions, they are more than willing to look silly chasing a bit of yarn, tossing a fake mouse laced with catnip, or bravely explore a brown paper bag. But the true power of cats comes from their ability to inject themselves into whatever we are doing at the time, no matter how important, and cause us to stop and pay attention to their kind. In a way they are saying “I want to be loved, now.”

That appears to be what is being told to Hikaru Shirosu, a talented pianist and singer from Japan. In his latest video we get a behind the scenes look at a video he produced for YouTube back in 2013. Shirosu found the video on an old SD card. Posting through his official Twitter the artist stated of the video:

The group formed by EXILE’s Takahiro, GLAY’s Hisahi, Losalios’ TOKIE, and The Mad Capsule Market’s Motokatsu Miyagami can be seen in the upcoming release of High & Low the Live. The huge movie spectacle staged at four locations in Japan with over a million people in attendance will finally hit store shelves in DVD and Blu-Ray format.

The film that contains elements of car and bike stunts, drama, samurai warriors with swords, and musical performances. Over 450 performers were used in the making of this movie. Some of the artists who took part were EXILE, J Soul Brothers III, PKCZ, JAY’ED, E-girls, and EXILE TRIBE.

Glay – Takuro

Glay’s lead guitarist Takuro has released a short version of his music video “Guess Who”, a track off his first upcoming solo album Journey without a Map (to be released December 14, 2016). The album contains 11 tracks that is jazz and blues based and is produced by Takahiro Matsumoto, Grammy Award winning artist and member of rock duo B’z. Matsumoto won the Grammy with Larry Carlton in 2011 for best Pop Instrumental Album Take Your Pick. Fans can purchase the CD at a cost of ¥2,500 plus tax or buy the CD/DVD package which will contain the full version of “Guess Who”, a making of, and two documentary films for ¥4,000. Takuro will be supporting his first solo album with a 15 performance tour of Japan starting in February, 2017.

2nd Wave of Artists Announced for Japan’s Cultural “Moshi Moshi Nippon Fest 2016!”

Cultural festival Moshi Moshi Nippon will be making its return to the Tokyo Taiikukan in Sendagayan this November 24-27. This festival will be 4 days filled with live performances, traditional culture, arts demonstrations, fashion shows, and food. Now in it’s third year, Moshi Moshi Nippon Fest 2014 saw 15,000 in attendance followed by a record of 25,000 in 2015. In 2016 the Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival has been promised to be bigger than ever. And as a special treat this year for non-Japanese citizens, those who pre-register will be given free entry.

Bradio will be performing live with France‘s 80’s group Les Innocents in a concert titled “Music Exchange Concert France-Japan ~BRADIO meets Les Innocents~”. The event will be live streamed through VIDEO Clipper. The VIDEO Clipper app is only available for the iPhone. Streaming will begin October 4th at 5pm (17:00) JST. Bradio’s live will begin at around 8:20pm (20:20) JST.
