Instead of Eggs, Maybe Dusting off Predator Hunting Grounds is A Better Option

Some people may well want other ideas on what to hunt for this Easter, and the news about Predator Hunting Grounds getting updates is good news!

Easter doesn’t have to be about hunting for eggs in the real world. For fans of Predator Hunting Grounds, an asymmetrical multiplayer video game, new content is finally coming! After four long years since its release, it’s also being updated for the latest gen consoles too! IllFonic Inc. is the new publisher, collaborating with 20th Century Games to breathe more life into this product and it will be delivered during this year and next.

“This game has a strong, enthusiastic player base and a vocal community that wants to see the game updated and supported,” remarked Charles Brungardt, CEO of IllFonic. “Now that IllFonic is publishing games, we knew we had to get Predator Hunting Grounds back. We knew we needed to get back to the Chopper!”

With Nyaaaanvy, Video Gamers Don’t Have To Be Fighter-Saavy to Enjoy the Craziness Going On

The reason why this videogame is called Nyaaaanvy is that the Japanese onomatopoeia for cat’s meow is nya!

Now Available on Steam and Nintendo Switch

Nyaaaanvy is a rather fun physics-based 3D fighting game which features sausage-like kitties attacking each other with their butts! It’s less about claiming an alpha status on every rooftop (or other oddly shaped arenas with moving parts) where they nest. Like real life cats, they have their places where they prefer to hang out, and here, it’s all about who has the power.

With Kill it With Fire 2, This Sequel isn’t as Creepy Crawly, But Still Fun Nonetheless!

When considering the homages to busting bugs in many a film or tv series (horror or sci-fi), playing the Kill It With Fire 2 Demo is very satisfying. But what else is hiding behind that huge web?

Anyone who has played Casey Donnellan Games‘ flagship first person shooter where you get to squash, roast or shoot down spiders will love Kill It With Fire 2. The core mechanics remain the same, but what’s more epic is that all those crazy weapons that one finds in sci-fi bug squashing adventures, namely Aliens, are featured here! I haven’t found them all yet, but I’m sure they exist!

Unlike the original, where it’s about busting these arachnoids in an urban home setting, and causing as much collateral damage as possible indoors and outdoors. My review of the VR version can be read here, and what’s been expanded upon is an epic cosmic battle with this critter! Although I rarely thought of spiders as truly alien, this game has changed my mind. They exist throughout the galaxy in one strange form or another, including mechanoids. As a result, I’m wondering if there’s a hybrid human and spider creature (known as the Drow in Dungeons and Dragons) lurking around? Maybe they exist, and only time will tell if it’s in the game or will be part of an expansion.

With Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open There’s No Need to Be Afraid of the Dark (Again)

After Paper Ghost Stories 7PM, what’s next in this franchise is titled Third Eye Open. Just what will you see here?

A new chapter of Cellar Vault Game’s Paper Ghost Stories is here. Titled, Third Eye Open, this latest instalment is guaranteed to chill, and perhaps even cause some gamers to sleep with the lights on. This demo is available on Steam (PC), and will be released to all platforms by Summer 2024.

This award-winning anthology of creepy tales inspired by Malaysian and Chinese myths and culture will unravel even further as gamers take on new challenges. I’ve played the first game (review link) and still have the shivers, thinking back at what I couldn’t accomplish. There were some harrowing moments. And for the latest, there may even be a “Hungry Ghost” component when considering the season.

When Racing Through the Worlds of Wizordum Gets Fast, Is There An End in Sight?

You gotta be fast and quick to respond in all the danger coming at you in Emberheart Games’s Wizordrum!

Gamers who love to post speed runs on Twitch will find Wizordum to be the type of perfect shoot ’em up style game to parley with. While I prefer a dungeon crawl at a slow pace, this fantasy shooter is designed to be played fast and furious! That’s how most adventure games should be played. Sometimes, players spend too much time being methodical or are pouring through the books to insure encounters follow the rules, and while that’s okay in a pen and paper game, that’s not how it works in real life!

The fact players have to be on the ball in this videogame, that means being able to solve puzzles on the fly! There’s also being like Indiana Jones and escaping a room with the treasure without missing the beat of those arrows shooting at him! In this game, players better have that itchy trigger finger and nimble reflexes when blasting through a dungeon!

When there were times I wished I could pause the game to quickly sketch out a dungeon map, I suspect that would slow the game down. Thankfully, there is one provided in the game to show where the secrets lay, but it’s not as detailed as one I would make.
