You’ll Melt More! Special Performances to Promote “Girls, Dance with the Dead”

To promote the release of their film Girls, Dance with the Dead (女の子よ死体と踊れ) on DVD and Blu-ray May 11th, the members of Japanese pop group You’ll Melt More! (ゆるめるモ) will be holding special performances. Members Mone, Kechon, Chiffon, Younapi, Ano, and Chibo will each be giving their own unique performances on different days at different venues. Each member of the group will perform their own song which will represent six of the seven deadly sins that their characters represent in the film. Fans will be able to purchase tickets to each individual performance and each performance will have their own rewards such as signed photographs of members of You’ll Melt More. The more concerts attended the more rewards will be made available. Fans will also have a chance to win merchandise at these events such as patterned jackets.

Flying Dog Confirms First Haruka Chisuga Live Concert!

Flying Dog, the record label owned by Japan’s Victor Entertainment, have confirmed Haruka Chisuga’s debut live concert “First Try!” The concert will take place at the Shibuya Duo Music Exchange in Tokyo July 9th and will be in support of Chisuga’s 1st full album “Try!”

Chisuga is both a singer and a voice actress who found fame in 2012 by winning the Miss Macross 30 contest. Chisuga earned the role of Mina Forte in the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) game Macross 30: Voices Across the Galaxy. The game would commemorate 30 years of Shoji Kawamori’s Macross franchise. The game featured every animated series of the franchise up to that point. Chisuga continued her success by performing in the animated series of Aquarion Logos (Kokone Kikogami), Owari no Seraph (Mikaela Hyakuya), and Gakusen Toshi Asterisk (Sylvia Lyyneheym).

Haruka Chisuga’s debut full album, “Try!”, will be released June 22, 2016. “First Try!” will be performed Saturday, July 9th. Doors open at 4pm. Curtain is at 5pm.

Babymetal Battles Evil Spirits in New Music Video ‘Karate’

Babymetal2Japanese metal/J-pop fusion group Babymetal have released the second track in video form from their upcoming album ‘Metal Resistance’. ‘Karate’ sees the teenage trio in a martial arts showdown to the death against three skull-masked adversaries. In order to defeat their foes the girls have to first fight the spirits of deceased warriors that are called up to protect their mistresses. In a battle that can only be compared to a Dragon Ball Z episode, Babymetal almost tastes defeat from the encounter. It is only after picking themselves up off the ground they call upon the power of the Fox god. With a new force flowing through them each girl uses a unique power to dispatch their enemies,

“Karate” has a very heavy and dark feel and it’s reinforced with grinding guitar riffs that will have you banging your head along to the music. The release of ‘Metal Resistance’ will be followed by a World tour to kick off at the Tokyo Dome on what Babymetal has called “Fox Day” (April 1st). April 2nd will see the group perform at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England followed by a New York concert at the PlayStation Theater on May 4th.

Babymetal was formed in 2010 and includes members Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal), Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal), and Moa Kikuchi (Moametal). Babymetal and it’s band are managed by Amuse, Inc.

2016 the Year of Babymetal: New Album and World Tour

Babymetal2J-pop-metal music trio Babymetal has confirmed their second album will be released through earMUSIC on April 1 of next year. The day of release has been branded ‘Fox Day’ and is normally seen in Japan as a day for renewal. The Japanese Government begins their fiscal year on April 1st and that is a date many corporations form or merge. It is also the time children start their school year.

Babymetal will be backing their latest release with a world tour that will include a concert in London‘s SSE Arena, Wembley on April 2nd and a headline show at Tokyo Dome in Japan — with dates to be confirmed in the new year.
