When Jurassic World Chaos Theory Proves The Fact That People Should Not Remain Apart…

Jurassic World Chaos TheoryIn Jurassic World Chaos Theory, the kids have grown up, and they’re using some of those experiences to deal with the latest hurdle. And that’s to deal with rogue dinosaurs roaming North America! Although I’m still trying to figure out how this title fits even on my fourth binge-watch, some facts are certain: they’re matured and some are taking the fight to a whole new level.

What I love is that a few answers regarding how this team managed to cope in the past are provided in simply one-liners. Although six years have passed, it seems only one of them still suffers from PTSD. But to see that a few went to work with the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife (DPW) is a head scratcher. I would’ve thought they’d want a normal life. Darius (Paul-Mikél Williams) is a dinosaur whisperer, but he left after a wPaul-Mikél Williams, Kiersten Kelly, Sean Giambrone, Raini Rodriguez, Darren Barnet, Kausar Mohammedhile, for some undisclosed reason.

When The Fall Guy Fails to Respect Its Source Material

The Fall Guy feels more like a tribute to the pulps of yesteryears than be a modern update of the classic 80s series of the same name.

The Fall Guy Movie PosterMild Spoiler Alert

Let’s face it. Ryan Gosling is hot. He’s so smoking, where no matter what project he’s attached to, it’ll do nicely because there are groups who adore him. That’s why I believe he was cast to play Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy. As for why see it, I believe that’s because Emily Blunt steals the spotlight. There’s a fire that I haven’t seen for a long time; she’s like the spitfire Rachel Weisz in The Mummy!

In the past, La La Land cemented this actor’s status as leading man material. To see him and Emma Stone together recall why Hollywood is the place for making movie magic. He made me The Believer, and as for genre works, he’s fairly decent in Blade Runner 2099. But as far as Barbie is concerned, that’s a work I refuse to acknowledge as cinema. It’s a huge commercial to sell dolls. As for how it deals with feminism and challenging the masculine norm, I’ll leave that to others to debate.

As for his latest effort, it’ll certainly come to GQ’s attention to call him hunk of the year. Sadly, this movie is mindless entertainment, and I don’t think it even tries to honour the work stunt people do. Jackie Chan’s Ride On (review) does a better job. All this blockbuster does is to broaden both lead’s sex appeal. As for all the fancy stunts attempts, it’s all style, no substance.

When Sniper: G.R.I.T., Global Response and Intelligence Team is About Fighting for Freedom Over Land and Air…

Only fans of G.I. Jooe need to apply here, to become a member of Sniper: G.R.I.T., Global Response and Intelligence Team.

Sniper G.R.I.T. Global Response and Intelligence Team
Available to purchase or stream on Amazon USA

An introduction is needed to welcome newcomers to the Sniper franchise and who Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenger) is. He is a Master Gunnery Sergeant and throughout the many films released since the 1993 original, he’s rising up the ranks. In Sniper: G.R.I.T., Global Response and Intelligence Team, he’s ready to join a new team to take on terrorists all over the world, and that also includes a religious zealot who kind of reminds me of a certain someone in a cartoon.

To be fair, I had to catch up to find out what has happened since the first film. After the one theatrical release, I didn’t realise there were many more direct to video releases. Thankfully to play catchup is easy; they are now available to stream online on platforms like Google Play, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

In Search for Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman, A South Korean Horror Fantasy

It’s not just supernatural hijinxs that’s going on in Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman but also there’s a past this good doctor must confront if he’s to save the day.

Dr Cheon and The Lost Talisman Proper Movie PosterWell GO USA
Release Date: Oct 6, 2023

In South Korea, the belief in ghosts is very real, and it’s best not to annoy them. In Dr. Cheon and The Lost Talisman (천박사 퇴마 연구소: 설경의 비밀), this spiritualist better be on his A-game if he’s to best them. But when he’s mostly a huckster, preying upon others’ fear of the unknown, what he discovers awakens memories he’d rather forget.

That’s because this individual (wonderfully played by Gang Dong-Won) lost a brother and his grandfather to an evil sorcerer. This individual wants the gift of true vision since he can’t do it himself. He wants to look into the spirit world and that isn’t easy. In this film, they are referred to as seolgyeong. As for what they are, lost souls or the divine, it doesn’t matter. And unless Cheon is willing to save others from losing their eyes to a dark mage (Joon-ho Huh), they will die. When Jackie Chan’s Team-up In Hidden Strike Is No Rush Hour

Not all action-star pairings can work, and Hidden Strike demonstrates why producing a spec script can be problematical when the stars aren’t always on board.

Jackie ChanHidden Strike Movie Poster‘s films are often entertaining, but in Project X-traction (aka Hidden Strike on Netflix), the movie struggles to make it to first base. I was hardly excited to wonder if this star can make it to second. After his home run with Ride On, his next film can barely get out of the gate.

This action thriller where he meets John Cena appeared on my Netflix recommendation list and I wished it didn’t. That’s because despite some high octane action, not even this former wrestler can steal the show. He has a lot more better moments than Chan, and that’s not saying much. Here, this lead is supposed to be in charge! Instead, he’s just a commander of a rescue team sent to free Chinese workers from an oil refinery in the Middle East. It’s under attack, and although that extraction was successful, getting out of the region will prove difficult. Luo’s team (Chan) he has to blaze through The Highway of Death and it was too Mad Max for me. Continue reading “When Jackie Chan’s Team-up In Hidden Strike Is No Rush Hour”

Just How Much Crazier Can Hunt’s Life Get after Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One?

Just what kind of crazy stunt we’ll see after Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One will require fans to wait more than a year for.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoining Part One Movie PosterSpoiler Alert

After witnessing just how much crazier the stunts have become throughout the Mission Impossible movies, Dead Reckoning Part One is the most insane. As for whether that motorcycle stunt can be surpassed in part two, I have a prediction. There will be some nut bar oceanic test for Ethan Hunt to escape from, and he better be Harry Houdini. It’s easy to surmise that will happen in the next film when considering how part one begins.

What I enjoyed from this film concerns how the stakes get raised. This unit keeps on finding themselves in missions a single human can’t take on alone. In this series, Hunt’s team has each other’s back. And it’s great the stories never deviate from this fact. Also, from simple espionage narratives to global threats, I believe this latest is taking cues from past films. From Ghost Protocol to the team creating a Rogue Nation of their own, the latest motion picture has a nautical title that not everyone is talking about.
