When Love Hurts, Just How Bad Can It Be?

The answer is as mystifying as what kind of movie is this meant to cater to? Love Hurts is a mix of comedy, martial-arts and gangsters.

Love Hurts 2025 Movie Poster When the movie Love Hurts tries to be a bit of Everything, Everywhere All At Once (movie review link), not even Ke Huy Quan can save it. As much as I love the fact he’s returned to acting following the seminal hit which won him a Golden Globe, not every new film can be as spectacular. The problem is that the premise is better off as a picture starring Jackie Chan than anyone else.

When the fact this film includes various shootouts close to Valentine’s Day along with a reveal concerning sibling rivalry, there’s just too much happening. This work doesn’t try to be a particular genre, but many. It’s a romantic action adventure comedy with an idea or two from John Wick on top.

Shake It Up Now With Twisters on Home Video

And yes, it’s best to have an ATMOS sound system hooked up to fully experience Twisters as it was intended! You may want to duck too.

Twisters 4K Disc Release No scientific knowledge is required to understand what Twisters, the spiritual sequel to the 1996 film, are about. Since time has passed. I suspect most of those storm chasers have moved on. And to bring this IP back in today’s age and concerning Kate Carter (Daisy Edgar-Jones) works in favour of why we love these films. I’m hoping this lead will lead to a new set of films about chasing after EF4 class tornadoes.

While I’m still waiting for a film about someone coming up with the idea to turn the American South East into a super tornado zone to belt out volcanic ash into space, perhaps the idea isn’t too far-fetched. Maybe that’s how the planetary ecosystem worked during a prior epoch. In this tale, Carter wants to reduce the intensity of these windstorms, but sadly her first experience caused the opposite effect! For half the film, she’s trying to deal with survivor’s remorse.

When Jurassic World Chaos Theory Proves The Fact That People Should Not Remain Apart…

In Jurassic World Chaos Theory, the kids have grown up, and they’re using some of those experiences to deal with the latest hurdle. And that’s to deal with rogue dinosaurs roaming North America! Although I’m still trying to figure out how this title fits even on my fourth binge-watch, some facts are certain: they’re matured and some are taking the fight to a whole new level.

What I love is that a few answers regarding how this team managed to cope in the past are provided in simply one-liners. Although six years have passed, it seems only one of them still suffers from PTSD. But to see that a few went to work with the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife (DPW) is a head scratcher. I would’ve thought they’d want a normal life. Darius (Paul-Mikél Williams) is a dinosaur whisperer, but he left after a wPaul-Mikél Williams, Kiersten Kelly, Sean Giambrone, Raini Rodriguez, Darren Barnet, Kausar Mohammedhile, for some undisclosed reason.

Just Who Stalks Whom Makes Abigail All The More Scarier. But Is Daddy Dearest Deadlier?

Universal Studios is finally on the right track for reigniting interest in their classic monster franchises with films like Abigail. Now the question is, can they keep the momentum of decent hits going?

Universal Studios Abigail is a return to form after a crazy last year of horror movies that have been hit-and-miss. Here, wannabe kidnappers grab a young teen and while tasked to watch over her until the ransom is met, little do they know just how much of a monster she is! Anyone who has seen the trailers knows a lot more about what’s going on than they do. Had they been familiar with Anne Rice’s book Interview with a Vampire, they’d know just how scary Claudia can get, but they’re none the wiser.

Instead, all they know is that she’s the daughter of a powerful gangster. She lives a rather privileged lifestyle, enjoying ballet and playing with her dolls. However, once when we see her offer a sinister grin, and only one member of this gang even offers a sense of guilt, what I got to see is scarier than Alien! Alisha Weir is awesome in the role, injecting enough innocence and pathos to make anyone cautious.

When The Fall Guy Fails to Respect Its Source Material

The Fall Guy feels more like a tribute to the pulps of yesteryears than be a modern update of the classic 80s series of the same name.

Let’s face it. Ryan Gosling is hot. He’s so smoking, where no matter what project he’s attached to, it’ll do nicely because there are groups who adore him. That’s why I believe he was cast to play Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy. As for why see it, I believe that’s because Emily Blunt steals the spotlight. There’s a fire that I haven’t seen for a long time; she’s like the spitfire Rachel Weisz in The Mummy!

In the past, La La Land cemented this actor’s status as leading man material. To see him and Emma Stone together recall why Hollywood is the place for making movie magic. He made me The Believer, and as for genre works, he’s fairly decent in Blade Runner 2099. But as far as Barbie is concerned, that’s a work I refuse to acknowledge as cinema. It’s a huge commercial to sell dolls. As for how it deals with feminism and challenging the masculine norm, I’ll leave that to others to debate.

As for his latest effort, it’ll certainly come to GQ’s attention to call him hunk of the year. Sadly, this movie is mindless entertainment, and I don’t think it even tries to honour the work stunt people do. Jackie Chan’s Ride On (review) does a better job. All this blockbuster does is to broaden both lead’s sex appeal. As for all the fancy stunts attempts, it’s all style, no substance.

Perhaps It’s Best Not to Book Passage on the Last Voyage of the Demeter

Sometimes, a new life can be breathed onto the The Last Voyage of the Demeter, had it been released on a different platform.

Although The Last Voyage of the Demeter has set sail, away from theatrical screenings, hopefully it’s eventual home video release will do better to help make Warner Bros. think this release isn’t doomed to failure. This expansion of the material presented in Bram Stoker’s novel, Dracula, is an effective horror film. Plus, not only does this take offer a lot more story than the eight pages featured in the book but also expands on it!

Here, horror fans are treated to a two hour film (which equates to approximately 120 leaflets). Also, instead of seeing a group of five navigate the stormy seas, the crew has become eight! Although one individual was unnamed, the others include first mate Wojcheck (David Dastmalchian, a character created for this movie), Olgaren (Stefan Kapicic), Abrams/Abramoff (Chris Walley) and Petrofsky (Nikolai Nikolaeff).

I’d have to rewatch this film again to double check who was second in command and served the food. In charge of this brigade is Captain Eliot (Liam Cunningham). In regards to who’s new are Doctor Clemens (Corey Hawkins) seeking passage to London, a stowaway going by the name of Anna (Aisling Franciosi), and the cabin boy Toby (Woody Norman) who also happens to be the captain’s grandson.
