When Season 3 of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Packs Too Much In, Breaking It Up Is Important

As much as I enjoyed watching the Dumont bandits make their last hurrah in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, their fates are no longer intertwined and I’ll just leave it at that.

Po has certainly grown since becoming the Dragon Warrior back when Kung Fu Panda first started. He had to deal with classic wuxia style villains in the movies, face many foes in the television series, train a new generation in The Paws of Destiny and, with The Dragon Knight, prove his worth elsewhere. He’s lost the former title, and the difference may well rest in where he’s honoured.

Much of the third season takes place in England and it feels drawn out. After the events of the much shorter second season at Tikal to locate the Tianshang weapons, simply retrieving them and becoming the new custodians isn’t enough. They’ll have to destroy them. I had to rewatch much of the prior season to remind myself about what went on, and then realised, perhaps viewing the first again would also help refresh my memory.

Instead of sailing a straight line to that nation, a cruise through the Caribbean is required and they encounter pirates! (“The Trial of Mr. Ping” and “Baddie Issues”). Continue reading “When Season 3 of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Packs Too Much In, Breaking It Up Is Important”

Kaoru Ishibashi
‘s goal in Omoiyari, A Song Film by Kishi Bashi (his stage name) is not just to reveal where he comes from. Had he announced his new purpose in life while wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses, I’d say it’s one from God. But no, he’s not a Blues Brother. I feel his desire to preach the value of how to do well unto others as you would have them do unto you is heartfelt, and it’s best to listen.

In this excellent documentary is a look back at not only everything he faced growing up but also in what he’s learned from it, so he can teach others how not to repeat history. The title of the film is difficult to translate and although tokhimo.com does a great job at explaining it, I think my comparison to Christian values also nails it.

And for this musician turned filmmaker, what he hopes for this work is to show how he’s rediscovered his heritage and why he wants to sing about it. This talent was part of the new wave band Jupiter One, before becoming a solo act.

Release Date: Oct 6, 2023

In South Korea, the belief in ghosts is very real, and it’s best not to annoy them. In Dr. Cheon and The Lost Talisman (천박사 퇴마 연구소: 설경의 비밀), this spiritualist better be on his A-game if he’s to best them. But when he’s mostly a huckster, preying upon others’ fear of the unknown, what he discovers awakens memories he’d rather forget.

That’s because this individual (wonderfully played by Gang Dong-Won) lost a brother and his grandfather to an evil sorcerer. This individual wants the gift of true vision since he can’t do it himself. He wants to look into the spirit world and that isn’t easy. In this film, they are referred to as seolgyeong. As for what they are, lost souls or the divine, it doesn’t matter. And unless Cheon is willing to save others from losing their eyes to a dark mage (Joon-ho Huh), they will die. Instead of the Same Ol’ Same Ol’, This Year’s Scary Victoria Halloween Event Guide Tries to Be Different

Only the most loved events are mentioned in this year’s Halloween Event Listing for the Garden City is considered.

Halloween Event Guide with a Skull Looming over the The Parliament Buildings The season for trick or treating is right around the corner, and instead of listing the usual staples that take place around Victoria, B.C., what’s offered in this year’s Halloween Event Guide are either new events and activities that sparked my interest. The lists I’ve published in prior years are generally still valid, and should be listed as related articles following this post. Because variety is important and not everyone is inclcined to revisit the same old thing every year, even I want something different to try!

Not listed are murder mysteries, themed board game nights and other similiar store hosted events where there’s limited seating. This list will be updated as more events get advertised. If you know of one that should get listed here, please do not hesitate to comment or contact us.

If “We Are Not Alone,” Then Why Are the Aliens Hiding and How Do We Make Contact?

Thankfully there’s ways to make contact with the fantastic, and Serena DC shows why We Are not Alone in her latest documentary presentation.

We Are Not Alone Key ArtAvailable on VOD and DVD Beginning Oct 3, 2023

We Are Not Alone is Serena DC‘s next foray into the subject of the supernatural. Instead of going Beyond the Grave (review link), she’s looking above the stars to explore how anyone can make alien contact. Close encounters of the fifth kind (CE5) are extremely rare for the non-spiritualist, and that’s because he or she has never been attuned to that cosmic consciousness. After watching this latest, that’s the theory I have.

Surprisingly, Andrea Parren appears in this documentary. While some people don’t consider ghosts and UFOs as the same, what if they aren’t? Perhaps what makes them similar is that it concerns dealing with entities that don’t exist in our natural world. It doesn’t matter if that alien is projecting itself across the universe and what we see is actually energy as upon death; the body loses some mass–perhaps occupied by electricity, which makes up the 21.3 grams while alive. Although this idea isn’t presented, to get to the science would probably slow down the purpose of this film.
