Like a gentle snow flurry slowly making its way to cover the countryside, the full trailer for Disney’s Frozen finally arrives State-side (from the UK) to tell fans that this movie is coming November 27th, just in time for American Thanksgiving.
This full preview looks promising. It yields a few fantastic action sequences and a fairy-tale like adventure that will be sure to please audiences of all ages. Complete with the prerequisite second banana to provide the humour, at least some story formulas never change. This product is Disney after all. As for whether or not audiences will warm up to the idea or be icy, that will depend on the point of view.
Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad) is a goofy snow-man that is designed to please the young child demographic. Not everyone will take a liking to this character. As for how important he is to the plot can not be ascertained until the movie is finally released. The reindeer looks like the one who will really steal the show. But for youths who are acquainted with what young love can be like, the romance that will develop between Anna (Kristen Bell) and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) can be seen a mile away. They are off on a quest to free their kingdom from an eternal winter and during this time, feelings will no doubt develop between them.
Chris Buck (Tarzan) and Jennifer Lee (Wreck-It Ralph) will be providing the direction for this movie. As for how well both their ideas will fuse will depend on who really is in charge to put the final story together.
