What SDCC 2026 Comic Book Exclusives Are Worth Waiting In Line For? (Part Two)

As there a tons of SDCC 2026 Comic Book exclusives being offer this year, we take on the tough task on which 10 titles are worth waiting in line for!

SDCC 2026 Comic Book ExclusivesWhen some fans are seeking out SDCC 2026 comic book exclusives, the big question some may ask will be which titles are must haves? That’s because with these exclusive variant covers, they make great display pieces rather than gold mines for speculating (i.e. resale value). It’s not to say they are all going to make a solid investment, and that’s why a lot of these offerings are limited in scope, so no one can scalp.

As for which titles I’d personally go after, I continue in my list to focus only on the comics offered by the following companies. Sorry Marvel and DC but there nothing from your list of announced goodies that doesn’t strike me as special.

BOOM! Comics

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (2026) #1

Mighty Morphin Power RangersThe future is now with this visionary relaunch of the globally acclaimed Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. It’s been ten years since the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers turned in their morphers and went their separate ways. But now they’ve been called back to the legendary Command Center to face a new, terrifying form of a familiar foe: Rita Rabiosa. They may not be teenagers with attitudes anymore, but are they still the same heroes they once were?

Although this comic released last month to comic stores, this variant by Federico Sabbatini pays homage to a SNES cart style design. It has a smaller print run when compared to other exclusives, so catch them if you can.

DC Comics

Last year, DC Comics decided to run a series of ten different San Diego Comic-Con booth designs to mark a decade of their brand ahead of their hundredth anniversary. And in 2026, it’s the 50s. That time marked a creative turning point for the company as they introduced Supergirl, explaining why the movie came out this year, along with making Hal Jordan Green Lantern. As no singular comic can be tied to this celebration, this publisher will be offering limited edition foil covers of the following (this is a top five picks list rather than a complete catalogue).

        • Absolute Batman #1 by J. Scott Cambell & Tanya Lehoux
        • Absolute Catwoman #1 by Jay Anacleto & Romulo Fajardo Jr.
        • Absolute Superman #1 by Terry Dodson & Rachel Dodson
        • Absolute Wonder Woman #1 by Mark Brooks
        • Lobo #1 by Daniel Warren Johnson & Mike Spicer

The Horror of Godzilla #1

The Horror of Godzilla #1Artist: Andrew Currey
Price: Not announced

This variant supports IDW’s more explicitly frightening interpretation of Godzilla. The title alone suggests something closer to monster horror than another city-smashing tournament bracket.

The Rocketeer: Infiltrator #1

The Rocketeer SDCC 2026 VarientIt’s the height of World War II, and Betty is a Nazi collaborator! Or so we’re led to believe. As Allied planes mysteriously explode in midair across Europe, rumors of a Nazi superweapon compel the U.S. to send its fastest asset undercover: the Rocketeer! With Betty posing as a defecting American actress in a German motion picture, Cliff Secord, a.k.a. the Rocketeer, accompanies as her brother and manager. And since neither has experience in deep-cover work, the Allies send a handler to support them—a debonair MI6 agent who assumes the role of Betty’s co-star. The Rocketeer will need to maintain his cover, destroy a superweapon no Allied agent has actually seen, and keep Betty away from the handsome British secret agent with a penchant for beautiful women. It’s a lot for a reckless stunt pilot to handle!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #300

Lenore- Ghost Story #1Price: $20

Roman Dirge’s little dead girl returns with a glow-in-the-dark edition. Here, the gimmick fits the macabre subject rather than being poured over it like luminous gravy.

Solomon Kane: The Lion Errant #1

Solomon Kane- The Lion Errant #1Price: $20
Cover artist: J.H. Williams III

The SDCC edition uses a virgin foil cover by J.H. Williams III. It remains a variant, but the combination of Solomon Kane and Williams’ artwork offers more character than most.
