Beginning with Fan Expo Portland (Jan 16-18, 2026), attendees can meet the Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings and our favourite live-action Heroes in a Half Shell (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) all at once. Over the month of November, the event brand announced a celebration tour that will bring Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan together for a ticketed experience, An Evening with the Hobbits: In Celebration of 25 Years. This special event will appear at all Fan Expos across North America. Space is limited due to venue constraints, and a few additional rows may be added closer to the event date for latecomers.

As for the Turtles, fans will get to meet the voice talent behind the suits. Although nothing has been announced regarding the performers who wore the massive rubber costumes—David Forman, Leif Tilden, Josh Pais, and Michelan Sisti—the likelihood of both groups appearing together is slim, as the suit actors are based elsewhere.
However, Pais is the exception; the directors felt his physicality and the New York accent he created were so inseparable from the character that they couldn’t replace his voice without losing the performance. Coming to Vancouver on what will likely be a rainy day (it is Raincover, after all) are Judith Hoag (April O’Neil), Ernie Reyes Jr. (Donatello), Kenn Scott (Raphael), Robbie Rist (Michelangelo), Brian Tochi (Leonardo), and François Chau (Shredder). Two-thirds of this group may well feel right at home.

Rounding out this early guest recap is the return of Tom Welling, and this time he’s joined by Lana Lang herself—Kristin Kreuk—making her first appearance at the event. Her involvement could signal the possibility of a Smallville reunion brewing. All that’s needed now the return of Erica Durance and Michael Rosenbaum; he attended during the show’s early years, and featuring the full trio would make any guest lineup shine.
