When Hundreds of Beavers Leave Their Nest, The Road Show Can Only Go So Far, but the Chase Will Be Country-Wide!

Not only do we have dates for when Hundreds of Beavers will hit Digital and Home Video, but it’ll continue to screen at theatres!

Hundreds of Beavers Movie PosterRyland B. Cole Tews and Mike Cheslik‘s Hundreds of Beavers is continuing to invade North America! After a successful film festival run back in 2023 at Fantasia (movie review link), this slapstick maverick film is spreading nation-wide and across two countries. This tour started its run at Minneapolis, MN back on January 26 with a Great Lakes Roadshow, and although newcomers won’t see that outside of the region, my hope is that it was recorded!

If its certified cult status is any indication, perhaps local theatre groups can pick up on the idea and continue in what that crew has started.

But for those who didn’t travel there to see this show, there’s another hope the Blu-ray release will offer a glimpse. This home video release is slated for a Summer release and for those who prefer digital, it’ll be available on Fandor this Spring. Honestly, this silent film is best experienced on the big screen, at art hours / specialty theatres, so the full cinematic expression can be enjoyed.

The following is a curated list of PNW showtimes for Hundreds of Beavers

2/23–3/1 | Victoria, BC, Canada — Capitol 6
2/23 | Portland, OR — Clinton St. Theater
2/24–3/4 | Camas, WA — Liberty Theater
3/1 | Vancouver, WA – The Kiggens Theatre
3/6 | Vancouver, BC, Canada – The Rio
3/9 | Bainbridge, WA — Historic Lynwood Theater
