Trina Nishimura Cast as Attack on Titan’s Mikasa

TrinaFunimation has announced more names added to the roster for the English voice cast of the Attack on Titan anime series. Among them will voice artist and bartender extraordinaire, Trina Nishimura. She’ll be taking the role of Mikasa Ackerman, Eren Yeager’s adoptive sister.
 
The question now is who will play the protagonist Eren Yeager. There is perhaps one more day left to find out.

More Names In the Attack on Titan English Casting

MercerMore names have been rolled out for FUNimation’s English voice over cast of the popular anime series, Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin). We have learned Matthew Mercer will voice the calm and cool Survey Corps officer, Levi.

He has a slew of video game voice credits under his belt and he’s not a stranger to animated projects. Among his more recent credits were last year’s Monsters University feature film and the voice of Tygra from the Thundercats reboot.

Attack on Titan English Cast Announcement

AOT FUNimation has announced the voice cast for the English dub of the hit Japanese animated series Attack on Titan. Of this cast two cast members have or are going to make appearances at anime conventions. Mike McFarland will be a guest at Anime Boston which is being held in the Hynes Convention Center and the Sheraton Boston Hotel from March 21-23, 2014. J. Michael Tatum was a recent guest at Tsukino-Con 2014 held at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia.

Attack on Titan Cosplayers Will Save Us

attackontitanThat’s right, Attack on Titan cosplayers will be our last line of defense should the human race ever be threatened by walking titans with a hunger for human flesh. And here you thought it would be zombies.

Flesh eating gourmets aside, I am amazed at how far fandom has come since I took part in my first RPG session way back in 1987. During those times we were called nerds, geeks and even Satanists. With the exception of the latter word, I’m proud of being who I am. And what I love is anime and its cosplay connection. We are living in such a great time where people can dress-up and just let it all go. We can get away from the stresses of daily life. Conventions, clubs and our friends help us do this.
