Godziburst Rises From the Depths! Doctor Moreau Would Approve.

Godziburst arrives in North America with customizable Godzilla action figures, interchangeable parts, and a web series for kaiju fans to enjoy. And we got all the lists here!

GodziburstFor fans who love creating their own kaiju monster mash, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America’s Godziburst will soon arrive in this side of world to please. Who doesn’t want to customize their favourite TOHO monster? Rather than focusing solely on screen-accurate recreations, the new product line encourages collectors to swap parts, create entirely new monsters, and build their own stories.

After its successful debut in Japan last year, these figures are preparing to land on North American shores. Pre-orders are now open through Godzilla.com and Amazon. The figures are expected to arrive at retailers later this summer. While many fans will undoubtedly dream of building a multi-headed beast, a proper King Ghidorah body would still be needed, and the socket system would have to support that level of customization.

For North America, Wave One consists of Thunder Godzilla, Plasma Space Godzilla, Ultra Burning Godzilla, Formula Type 3 Kiryu, Infinite Lance Gigan, and Mechagodzilla & Maser Unit. Each figure measures approximately 3.5 inches tall and 2 inches wide. There is also a blind bag series, Godzilla Scramble Blind Figure Series 1, featuring TOHO legends in unusual variant designs inspired by everything from zebras to hamburgers. There is even a chase figure. Each toy folds into an egg shape and comes blind packed in packaging styled like an egg carton.

While longtime collectors may already own multiple versions of these monsters, the appeal here lies in customization rather than strict film accuracy.

Space Gigan

No modern toy line feels complete without additional media. Each blister pack includes a QR code that links to the Godziburst stop-motion-style animated web series. The episodes introduce the line’s unique “Burst Types,” elemental power classifications that influence both the story and the collectible figures.

Although the packaging suggests the series is tied to the figures, the episodes are also available through Bandai’s official YouTube channel. If you’re searching manually, the Japanese keywords ゴジラ 新フィギュア誕生 will quickly lead you to the Godziburst series.

The line first launched in Japan on September 20, 2025, where figures typically retail for ¥990 to ¥1,100. North American releases carry a MSRP of US$9.99. At a time when action figures continue to climb in price, it’s refreshing to see an affordable line that still encourages collecting multiple figures. As for me, I’m particularly interested in Plasma Space Godzilla and Infinite Lance Gigan (pictured above). The latter simply looks too cool not to display on the shelf.
