Vancouver’s Comic & Entertainment Expo will no doubt continue to add more guests as Summer nears for their inaugural event. Today, they’ve added Firefly’s Alan Tudyk and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Cobie Smulders to the ever-growing roster. They join Brett Dalton, Bill Moseley, Michael Shanks and Michael Berryman.
Tudyk is the lovable redneck in Tucker & Dale vs Evil and perhaps he can say if a sequel is planned or not. In the other front, he not only lent his voice to the animation world as the voice of Green Arrow and villain Psimon in the animated series Young Justice but also he might shed light on what’s happening for a season three every comic book nerd wants. There’s been talks about bringing this show to Netflix. Series co-creator Greg Weismann has not revealed much as to whether he will be involved but as for returning characters, perhaps Tudyk will further speculation.
Fans who have been to past Emerald City Comiccon shows can start adding to their Firefly collection with more autographs or photo-ops. The entire cast is known to tour the convention circuit, and to have one of the few here in Vancouver will no doubt make meeting the crew possible over time.
Smulders is making a hometown appearance and if only the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier was real, to see this ship hover over BC Place so she can make a grand entrance would certainly be in style. Smulders is best known as Agent Maria Hill. Fans can learn about what’s in store in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the fallout from Captain America: Civil War has to affect the series and beyond. In the DC Universe, perhaps she could comment about what if she became Wonder Woman instead of Gal Gadot had Joss Whedon’s version got approved. For this admirer of her works, I’d like to her about her memories working in the TV show
For this admirer of her works, I’d like to her about her memories working in the TV show Veritas: The Quest, a fun adventure series where she first played a regular role. With no official DVD release available, that would be the item I’d love to get autographed.
