For those of you who had a smurfin’ good time at the last Smurfs feature (I know I laughed out loud at Hank Azaria’s performance) than Smurfs 2 may be just for you.

The Smurfs with the aid of their human friends mount a rescue after Smurfette (Katy Perry) is captured by Gargamel (Hank Azaria). It is she who Gargamel believes contains the knowledge of a formula to turn the evil sorcerer’s newest creations – creatures called the Naughties – into true blue Smurfs.

Neil Patrick Harris makes his return as Patrick Winslow and is joined by Harry Potter’s Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’ Moody, Brendan Gleeson. Fans of Jonathan Winters will flock to the theatres to see his final role as the voice of Papa Smurf.

Smurfs 2 premieres July 31st.
