Comic Book Industry Pros Nerd Out Over 80s Cartoons

GetAlongGanglogoIn a rare treat the Twitterverse was witness to a group of comic book industry professionals who let slip their decorum and allowed their nerdier sides to show. Through this relaxed (almost silly banter) people were able to learn what titles they would willingly fight each other over just for a crack at them. The names of those involved should be familiar to many comic lovers. The few we mention here are writer/artist Shawn Aldridge (215 Ink’s Vic Boone and Vertigo’s The Dark and Bloody), writer/artist Ryan Cody (Red 5 Comic’s Atomic Robo Presents Real Science Adventures and Image’s Five Ghosts), and artist Graham Johnson (Serious Turtle Studios’ Of Stars and Swords). The consensus among them was 1980’s Saturday morning cartoons would make for some of the coolest comics.
