The action in Rasputin: The Voice of the Dragon #4 by Dark Horse Comics is getting intense. In what readers know so far, Sandu and Bruttenholm went behind enemy lines to figure out what the ghost of Albert Mayhew represents. The Nazis are interested in him. The last issue saw them discover macabre experiments to bring the dead back to life. It’s funny to see how the Nazi’s treat the dead. Or rather, in how somewhat Frankenstein their attempts are like. Instead of stitching different bodies together, they are brought back to life with bubble nodules, rubber tubes, and Tesla coils. The artwork of Christopher Mitten really shines here. The designs for the jackal guardians are simply fantastic!

The dual is now behind enemy lines to investigate what the enemy is up to. Unfortunately, have been captured, and just how they can escape will require a miracle.

Putting the Jigsaw together in Rasputin: Voice of the Dragon #3, A Review

The tides of the occult war is coming together very nicely in Rasputin: Voice of the Dragon #3. To see Dark Horse Comics put this title out twice in December is because of how the holidays are falling into place in this Gregorian calendar.

The tides of the occult war is coming together very nicely in Rasputin: Voice of the Dragon #3. To see Dark Horse Comics put this title out twice in December is because of how the holidays are falling into place in this Gregorian calendar. This issue comes packed to let readers see how the conflict will come to head. Both sides are after the same thing. The question is who will get the secrets to reanimation first.

Issue four will not be till February. This issue comes out after Boxing day; the only punches being delivered are in waiting for this mad monk to deliver a blow to show which side is going to win.

Rasputin, The Voice of the Dragon’s #2 Delivers More Questions than Answers

A very enigmatic despot is finding clues in issue number two to make Rasputin the one and only Voice of the Dragon. Well technically, the introduction is to recap the events of the previous issue, and in what writers Mike Mignola and Chris Roberson are offering is tantalizing enough to keep tuning in to this very serialized tale a must. The imagery and work set by Christopher Mitten is like that of watching a Hammer film unfold. Here be spoilers in this very decent jumping in point for new readers to the Hellboy universe.

Rasputin, The Voice of the Dragon — Review & Hopes on What’s to Come

Dark Horse Comic‘s Rasputin, The Voice of the Dragon has an official street date of November 15th, and any fan of this character from the Hellboy series will finally be able to get inside this evil sorcerer’s head! The first issue serves as an introduction and later issues will look deeper into this antagonist’s backstory. With this title, another tale is unfolding.

Hellboy has not arrived on Earth yet, and Trevor Bruttenholm’s journey to be confident to this antihero is also just beginning. His “abiding interest in the occult” sees him chasing after ghosts, or rather geists, thinking there is a code nestled within it to reveal the Nazi’s plan for world conquest. Little do the Allies know, the Germans are seeking their own warlords. Eventually, both side’s masters of the occult will clash.
