After THE LAST ROCKSTARS, there’s now Yoshiki Classical World Tour 10th Anniversary with Orchestra 2023 Requiem! ’nuff said.

Not only is he the leader of THE LAST ROCKSTARS which had a stellar debut and show last February, he’s ready for more! Yoshiki Classical World Tour 10th Anniversary with Orchestra 2023 Requiem promises to be big, and he’s headed to Tokyo Garden Theatre (Tokyo), Royal Albert Hall (London), Dolby Theatre (L.A.), and Carnegie Hall (New York).

The details were announced last week and what’s revealed is that he’ll not only recreate the magic from classical composers Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninoff, but also play at these historic centres famous for their acoustics. This tour will be the first time a Japanese artist has headlined at these venues (technically second for Carnegie), and this concert will celebrate the tenth anniversary of his Yoshiki Classical album which reached #1 on iTunes Classical charts in 10 countries.

The tour will also feature several special guest performers to be announced in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned at the official website.

YOSHIKI said, “Last year in May I lost my mother. I couldn’t do anything. I had to cancel my live TV shows, and I actually went to see a doctor, The tears kept coming for days. Then I started composing this song called Requiem. I thought I should move forward, I shouldn’t give up. To move forward and to really thank my fans who supported me, I decided to make this tour.”

Besides his groundbreaking world tour, YOSHIKI will release his latest single, Requiem, on July 21. X Japan’s first single in eight years, Angel, will be released on July 28.
