NSYNC with the Details Regarding the Trolls Band Together Sing-Along Edition

Everything you want to learn about Justin Timberlake‘s executive producer role in Trolls Band Together but were afraid to ask is well addressed here. I’m quite enjoying the home video release of this work a lot more than what was experienced at the theatre. It’s mostly because I wanted to know more about how the NSYNC reunion came about. I’m sure it wasn’t as easy as a phone call when considering what happened that resulted in them disbanding, sort of reuniting, and et cetera.

What I’ve learned from viewing “Hi, Hi, Hi” and “Together Again” is that Timberlake isn’t the only one who wants to keep this franchise alive. Producer Gina Shay must have geeked out when he pitched the idea of doing a reunion. To see the behind the scenes recordings with them talking about how to develop their characters and also composing a new song must’ve been a dream come true for her.

And we get to hear what these lads have been doing since. Anyone who has followed NSYNC’s history already knows everything that led to their disbanding. And the song they’ve recorded together shows no one has hard feelings about the past. They’re all in a “Better Place.”

What’s presented will make you smile. And I’m curious to see how well this film will do in the home video release department to help bring back their music. Also, as I’ve said in the past in my movie review, there is a lingering question: what about those boy bands from the East. I’d be game for a proper sequel where they have to up their game since it’s not a Western phenomenon.

Although the producers may prefer to explore other aspects of why music is wonderful, sometimes having a serialised narrative is better. Until then, one fact is certain. The BroZone are now part of the lexicon. And having a sing-along home video release is perfect for those wanting to do just that rather than learning something about where this franchise might head. But as for being part of Branch’s life depends on what DreamWorks has planned. Until that story idea gets pitched, just what this IP offers can go anywhere.
