But to give this coin life, when its angled right, the Ghost Bride’s eyes open wide and if it could glow, some collectors may flee at it coming to life! The candles behind her lights up. If some daring folks want to use it during a séance and it permanently spins, well …
At the Royal Canada Mint, the coin itself is nearly sold out. Thankfully an allotment can be found for purchase at Canada Post in a complete coin and stamp set which includes stamps showing off the St. Louis Light Phantom Train, Niagara-on-the-Lake’s haunted Fort George, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac’s Ghostly Governor Louis de Buade and the Fiery Ships of the Northumberland Strait.
Owning the full set will certainly make for a great display piece to talk about. The First Day covers that Canada Post offers can be framed or the keepsake display can be put on the mantle to show off to paranormal enthusiasts. Let’s just hope it doesn’t start to fly off on its own.
