Janice Nadeau‘s reflection on what life was like with her grandma, Mamie, is tenderfeet. It has a lively orchestration reminiscent of a Peanuts short. It’s a sweet piece which looks at the best of times and worst of times. This short tries to answer that question of why she isn’t so caring? It’s tough to let the right one in, and in this case, it’s more so with how her own kids left the next, and she’s alone. Though Nadeau visits, she finds that grandma is distant. But that’s okay, because this piece is hopeful, and that’s all we need.
